Who knew making sausage rolls could be this easy and tasty?! Don't forget your PERi-PERi sauce for dipping!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup PERi-PERi sauce
  • 1 lb sausage meat
  • 1/3 cup dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 1 egg
  • Small handful parsley
  • Sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

1 Preheat oven to 400℉. Dice apricots and chop parsley. Add apricots, parsley, breadcrumbs and PERi-PERi sauce to the sausage meat. Mix!
2 Cut the crust off the white bread, then spread in a row with a quarter inch over lapping. Use a rolling pin to roll 'em thin
3 Place meat mixture centered along the thinned bread
4 Crack egg into a bowl and mix. Brush egg wash onto the sides of the bread. Then roll the bread over to cover the meat and seal by pressing a fork along the edge
5 Brush egg wash on top of the rolled bread, then sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes
6 Cut into quarters and don't forget PERi-PERi for dipping!
