Craving pizza but trying to cut out gluten? This PERi-PERi chickpea pizza is both delicious and rather simple to make!


  • 3 tbsp PERi-PERi sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cooked chicken breast (shredded)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Arugula, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

1 Place a cast iron pan under the grill (set to hot) with a tablespoon of olive oil
2 Whisk together chickpea flour, water, olive oil and salt to make base and rest for 30 mins
3 Pour into pan and place under grill for 8-10 minutes
4 While that grills, mix together PERi-PERi sauce and tomato puree to make pizza sauce (pretty simple, right?!). When base is cooked, top with sauce, chicken and mozzarella
5 Place under the grill for another 8-10 minutes for optimal melted cheese delight
6 Slice, add arugula and don't forget your PERi-PERi to dip!
